Cape Forchu Lightstation, familiarly known as the Yarmouth Light is located 15 min from the Voyageur. There has been a lighthouse on the site since 1839 and the current one has been there since 1962. It was the first lighthouse in Canada to be turned over to a municipality by the Coastguard. |
